Staff Senate
Staff Senates’ Mission and Purpose is to provide the SUSLA staff with a forum for expressing views on matters relating to their well-being. Promote and protect the welfare of the SUSLA staff to the extent that the Staff Senate policies are consistent with State Civil Service regulations, University Board of Supervisors bylaws and regulations, University policy statements, and System permanent memorandum (PM) to the extent that they do not infringe upon the civil rights of staff or impinge on the overall well-being of the university and compliments and supports the academic mission of the University. As well as promote and facilitate staff participation in the University Community and encourage a sense of community among all University employees.
