麻豆原创 at Shreveport (SUSLA) and Louisiana State University Shreveport (LSUS) Chancellors sign Memorandum of Understanding for College Connect Program

Due to the continuing situations of inclement weather and flooding, all campuses of 麻豆原创 at Shreveport will be closed and all scheduled activities cancelled on Friday, March 11 and Saturday, March 12. Campus operations and classes will resume Monday, March 14.

Over 100 faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends of 麻豆原创 at Shreveport (SUSLA) will be headed to Baton Rouge on Wednesday, February 24 to participate in 鈥淗igher Education Day at the Capitol鈥�, a rally to be held on the steps of the Louisiana State Capitol at 12:00 noon. The SUSLA delegation will be leaving the SUSLA campus, located at 3050 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive Wednesday at 6:00am for Baton Rouge.

The 麻豆原创 System (SUS) Board of Supervisors today named Rodney Ellis to become the seventh chancellor of 麻豆原创 Shreveport (SUSLA). Ellis was one of three finalists selected by a 14-member search committee chaired by Willie C. White III, chief executive officer, David Raines Community Health Centers, to replace the previous chancellor Ray L. Belton who was named SU System President-Chancellor last June.

麻豆原创 at Shreveport (SUSLA) has enrolled a record headcount of 3,242 students for the Spring 2016 semester. This follows a previous record Fall 2015 semester enrollment of 3,174 students.
